Southern Line Atlanta is a proud member of the International Association of Gay and Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs (IAGLCWDC). Our primary purpose is to promote country western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, sex, gender or gender identity, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, disability or HIV status. Southern Line Atlanta Wins Second Place at Annual Convention!

Southern Line Atlanta is proud to announce that the competition dance team won second place in the Open Teams division at the 2009 IAGLCWDC Annual Convention held July 4th weekend in Washington, DC. The team worked tirelessly to perfect their USO themed routine which incorporated diverse dance styles including tango, foxtrot, swing and line dance. Congratulations!

Kudos also go out to SLA team members Tobi Ames and Deron Pardue who earned high marks in the couples competition!

SLA Preparing for 2009 Semi-Annual Convention in Atlanta!

Along with Southern Country Chattanooga and Southern Country Charlotte, Southern Line Atlanta will be prominently featured during the 2009 IAGLCWDC Semi-Annual Convention to be held Halloween weekend right here in Atlanta! SLA member Scott Schrank is working hard to coordinate the opening ceremony routine and we'd love for you to be part of the fun! If you'd like to participate, please join us at 3 Legged Cowboy on Thursday, August 6 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We plan on having additional practices each Thursday at the same time and location.
